Our Services

Mountain Home Montana is a Transitional Living Program located in Missoula, Montana serving homeless young mothers age 16-24 and their children. Mountain Home Montana consists of a 6-bedroom Transitional Living House and 5 Transitional Living Apartments. Mountain Home Montana strives to provide young mothers with the support, services and life skills they need to live independently. Mountain Home Montana's Program is a strength-based program utilizing The Nurturing Program and STEEP Parenting Curriculums and the Ansell Casey Life Skills Assessment Program. Mountain Home Montana provides the following services:

Why It Matters

Montana reports one of the highest teenage pregnancy and child poverty rates in the United States. Missoula not only reports the highest rate of homelessness in Montana, but also has the highest rate of homeless families. Mountain Home Montana serves homeless young mothres, and is the only program in Western Montana offering our services to this specific population. We have served young mothers and children from 18 counties in Montana including Big Horn, Chouteau, Deer Lodge, Glacier, Hill, Lincoln, Flathead, Jefferson, Lake, Lewis and Clark, Mineral, Missoula, Pondera, Powell, Ravalli, Sanders, Silver-Bow and Yellowstone.
