Volunteer Opportunities
Mountain Home Montana is always looking for dedicated volunteers who care about our mission and the work we do. Volunteer opportunities fall into four categories:
Childcare: We are always looking for caring individuals to come play with our little ones during Group Session, Education Session and during appointment times.
Special Projects: We often need a helping hand for various tasks and projects around the house. Past special projects have included painting, building, moving, planting, weeding etc.
Events: We would love to have you join our special event volunteer team. Mountain Home Montana hosts various events throughout the year, such as Festival of Trees and Clothing for a Cause, and we always need willing individuals to share your talent!
Board of Directors: We begin looking for Board members in the fall of each year. Board members are expected to commit to a 3 year term.
Special Opportunities
1. Move Out Baskets: When our moms complete the program and move into their new apartments their budgets are limited and we need help providing them a laundry basket with toilet paper, dish soap, paper towels, and other basic cleaning supplies.
2. Mom Appreciation: On birthdays and holidays (Valentine’s, Mother’s Day, Easter, Halloween, Christmas, etc.) our young mom’s are often left out. We always need help with birthday cards, gift cards, and goody baskets to help our young moms feel special on those special days!
3. In-Kind Services: We are interested in inviting individuals who can provide in-kind services, such as IT/Computer assistance etc, to join our volunteer team!
All of our Volunteers are an important part of Mountain Home Montana and we really appreciate the work they do for us! Thank you Volunteers!
